Lõpuks on olemas ka lätlaste võistlusjuhend! Autode klassid on küll jälle kuidagi omamoodi, kuid tegelikult klassid ikka nii, nagu meil kombeks. Mis puudutab osvõtumakse, siis ei maksa liiga tõsiselt võtta seda mehaanikute ja lisaautode maksustamist. See tehtud sellepärast, et ei tuleks võistlejatega mingit kisakoori, kes kõik ka väidetavalt mehaanikud on! Läti värk noh! Arvestage 20 latti per võistkond. Kohale peaks ennast veeretama 6´nda hommiku kella 10.00´iks. Eelregistreerimist saab teha nii lätlaste kodulehel, kui ka BHRA kodulehel.

AND „BHRA BALTIC CUP 2ND STAGE”
REGULATION
of the dragrace competition
1. Introduction
The competition is organized in accordance with Sport Codex of the LAF, with rules of the dragrace competition of the LAF Auto Freeway commision and given Regulation. In the competition also can take part an automobile’s, that correspond with technical rules of given Regulation.
2. Time of the competition 6th of July in 2008
3. Place of the competition
Locality – Krustpils aerodrome, Jēkabpils dostrict, Latvia.
4. Way and distance of the competition
Distance – 402,32 m, or 1/4 miles.
A classical dragrace, in final heat will get inside 16 the best bearer’s of time in each class in run’s of qualification.

8. Participant’s
8.1. Any physical person can became a participant of the competition, which have valid driver’s license of „B” category and which have appropriate automobile to technical requirements of given regulation and whose is covered one-time or annual licence in Auto Freeway commisin of the LAF. Participant must have valid LAF approved life assurance policy.
8.2. One participant can take part in the competition with only one automobile.
8.3. Participation pay
8.3.1. „Battery Cup 2008, 2nd stage”:
15,00 LVL – for participant;
5.00 LVL – permit for mechanic;
5.00 LVL – technical a/m permit.
8.3.2. „BHRA Baltic Cup 2008, 2nd stage”:
15,00 LVL – for participant;
5.00 LVL – permit for mechanic;
5.00 LVL – technical a/m permit.
8.4. Only one a/m mechanic is provided for each participant. (For each collateral team-participant pay is 10.00 LVL)
9. Participant’s responsibility
9.1. Each participant and owner of automobile is responsible for technical condition of automobile and taken action’s and to it result’s.
9.2. To filling in a participant’s card, participant with its signature maintain, that he is cognizant and undertake into account given Regulation of the competition, technical requirements and managing of the competition and instruction’s of subordinate officials.
10. Technical rules for automobile’s
10.1. General requirements for automobile:
10.2. Passed and valid roadworthiness test.
10.3. Automobile must be in technical order accordingly to annual rules of roadworthiness test.
10.4. At least three point’s seatbelts. Those can not be damaged.
10.5. Both front door’s must be freely opened from outside and from inside.
10.6. It is not permitted to have any kind of leakage of tachnical liguid.
10.7. Sports automobile’s most correspond to ASN and to requirements of corresponding sports committee.
Complete decision about allowing automobile to the competition assume technical commision, main judge.
11. Classification of automobile’s by classes’ „Battery Cup 2008, 2nd stage:
A class (100-199) till 2000 ccm
B class (200-299) from 2001 till 3000 ccm
C class (300-399) from 301 till 4999 ccm
D class (400-499) 5000 ccm and more
11.1. Complete decision about allowing automobile (also sports automobile*) in certain classes assume technical commision.
11.2. Collateral module for diesel engine is 0,7.
11.3. Automobile’s with turbo system or with rotor engine working capacity multiply by module 1,7. With nitro system – working capacity multiply by module 3,4. Complete decision about allowing automobile (also sports automobile*) in certain classes assume technical commision.
„BHRA Baltic Cup, 2nd stage”:
A class (500-599) – free class Outlaw
B class (600-699)– all a/m over 4000 ccm with turbo, nitro and rotor systems’.
C class (700-799)– a/m over 4000 ccm without turbo, nitro and rotor systems’ and a/m till 4000 ccm with turbo, nitro and rotor systems’.
D class (800-899) – all a/m till 4000 ccm without turbo, nitro and rotor systems’.
12.Participant’s registration order
12.1. Number of participant’s in each class is unlimited. Organizer of the competition and main judge in day of the competition can make a decision about reduction or enlargement number of participant’s, as well as combine a classe’s, if there is a rather few participant’s.
12.2. When participant’s register, are checked their automobiles’conformity to the technical requirements and to the given regulation of the competition, valid driving licence, as well as the LAF Freeway commision of dragrace competition one-time or annual licence.
12.3. Only one a/m in „Battery Cup” test’s can collaborate in one’s class or class above. To take part in class above, you have to apply when register and pay participation payment. In „BHRA Baltic Cup” test’s one a/m can collaborate only in one’s class. On arrival in starting zone, only one starting number can be on automobile.
12.4. The competition began with qualification runs (till 3). Each participant must show at least one result of qualification – the best is enrolled.
12.5. In expulsion runs allow 2, 4, 8 or 16 the fastest participant’s in each class by the results of qualification. Two next-best stay’s as reservist’s.
12.6. If participant after challenge by starting judge to take starting position hesitate over 20 sec., he is disqualified.
12.7. If driver is left without a pair, it mean’s that he automatically is enrolled, like beaten drive, if participant make distance in his own motion.
12.8. Starting position is electronically controlled by front spindle of automobile’s wheel.
12.9. Start is give with starting „fir.” Starting signal is green light, before whose with interval 0,4 sec. light’s up 3 yellow light’s.
12.10. In case of premature star in „fir” light’s up red light and participant lose its drive. Any recurrent runs are possible in case if judge made a mistake or with special decision of starting judge.
12.11. In a distance participant can drive only by choosen path. Advantage to choose a path in pair is to participant’s with better result’s of qualification – in starting register it is mentioned as a first.
12.12. During a drive is forbidden for participant to pull in passage of distance. If participant in passage of distance crosses middle or touchline, he is disqualified.
12.13. After crossing the finishing line, participant must regularly reduce driving speed, do not realized any manoeuvre’s till moment when will be completely stopped and convinced about competitor’s position.
13. Security terms of the competition
13.1 Organizer’s of the competition provide protected trace of the competition.
13.2 Participant’s and audience can not wilfully try to penetrate in confined area.
13.3 Movement in trace territoty is allowed with speed not bigger than 30 km/h. In case of anlargement of speed or for aggressive drive participant will be disconnect from the trace.
13.4 In time of drive participant’s must fasten with seatbelts, roof of cabriolet must be imposed.
13.5 On the head participant must wear a hard hat, that is suitable for motor sport.
13.6 Warming of tyre’s can take place only in given places, befire a scratch (warm-up zone). Warming of tyre’s out of „warm-up” will be qualified as agressive drive.
13.7 Decision about to stop and to renewal the competition because of rain suppose the main judge.
14. Advertisement
14.1 Placing organizer’s advertisement of the competition on participant’s automobile’s is obligatory.
14.2 Automobile’s without label’s of organizer’s of the competition is not allowed to the competition.
14.3 Advertising label’s must be disposed, taking into account handed out location plan by organizer.
15. Awarding
15.1 Three the best driver’s of each class are awarded.
15.2 Awarding take place finishing the competition, in trace territory, in starting zone.
