Turvalisusest
See teema tekitas mõtte, et peaks näitlikult üle kordama, et turvareeglid ei ole mitte võisteljate kiusamiseks välja mõeldud.

Need on vaid mõned juhtumid. Kõik jäid ellu tänu turvanõuete järgimisele. Aga alati nii hästi ei lähe.
Viimaste aastate jooksul on kaks surmajuhtumit minule otse "kümnesse" läinud:
1. John Lingenfelter, small-block Chevy guru, kes oli minu üks esimesi iidoleid;
2. Darrel Russel, Top Fuel, kelle võttis 5-kordne TF meister Joe Amato omale asendajaks, kuna pidurvarjude tekitatud G-jõud olid silma võrkkesta kahjustanud. Joe Amato firma Keystone on Top Partsiga lähedalt seotud.
Ja üldse, näidake mulle kasvõi üks inimene, kes ütleb, et Ayrton Senna ei osanud F1'ga sõita.
