Ükskord lennukiga reisides mõtlesin, et mis tunne on istuda
Mig-29 kokpitis, kui selle vertikaaltõusu kiiruseks on parasjagu 330 m/sek. Topfuel on seal kõrval lapsemäng ja tavaline reisilennuk veel rohkem (vert kiirus ca 10 m/sek).

Eeldab väga korras tervist ja G-suiti. Õnneks on koormus positiivne (keha suunaline). -12 g on hoopis hullem - nt -5g pealt lõhkevad juba silmades veresooned

Peale g-arvu loeb ka selle kestus. Kokkupõrkel võib see ollagi nii suur, ainult selle kestus on 1/10 sekundit. Kiirendamisel ja lennuki manöövritel räägime ikka vähemalt 3-sekundisest jõust. 3 sekundit 15+ g on inimesele väga eluohtlik (tekib nt lennukist katapulteerumisel ca 1 sek jooksul). Sellest vaprast kolonelist oleks 3 sek 40g-ga püksinööbid järgi. Kui hävitaja piloteerimisvea tõttu 800 kmh vastu maad põrkab sellise nurga all, et ninaosa terveks jääb, sis piloodist ei jää muud peale kiivri järgi. 40g-d pole seal kindlasti.

Selles artiklis küll ei mainita aga minuteada sai Ta samast korrast ka väga tugevad silma võrkkestakahjustused, mis Ta silmade poolest ka eluaegseks invaliidiks tegid ...

Sounds a lot like the the acceleration figures taken out of sammy millers vanishing point funny car; I have not seen or heard anything about real performance figures of that particular car.
Sammy Miller run 3.58/621 km/h at Santa Pod in early 80's if I remeber correctly. Here is a video: http://www.au004a2814.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/miller.avi
Phenomenal times of 0-60 mph in 0.2 seconds and 0-100 mph in 0.3 seconds were normal for rocket cars. Sammy couldn't buy the rocket fuel in England and had to buy it in Germany. He had to fuel the car in a field about 1/4 mile away from any other cars or spectators! I believe the engine he used in "Vanishing Point" was the same type used by NASA in the lunar module. He had to lie almost flat on his back in the car; otherwise, the incredible acceleration would have caused him to black out. He said that every time he raced the car his nose and ears bled.

Mingi Discovery laadse kanali peal näitas hiljaaegu saadet lenduritest ja G-jõududest. 12G pealt pani profist lendur (G-suit'iga) pildi peaaegu tasku. |
